Fred and Dorthy,
I am so sad to know of Moses loss. Hhe and I were friends for nearly 6-7 years. we enjoyed many evenings of talking, watching the Packer and Bears play and attending music at which he sang often. I will miss him and all the things we did together
So sorry to hear of his passing. I knew him as Moses as my husband Marv helped him repair or did odd jobs around his place. Enjoyed his singing at Mass every week. Say hi to Marv up there!
I was sad to hear of Lee’s passing. I enjoyed his gift of singing at St. Joseph’s and our trips to the store after church. He will always be remembered.
I was so sorry to hear of Lee’s passing and disappointed that I will not hear him sing at St. Joseph’s Saturday evening mass any longer. He truly enjoyed singing and serving his church. Lee always had a smile and kinds words for me after mass was over. I visited with him, my sister, Nina, and the other choir members who volunteered their musical gifts every week for many years at St. Joseph’s.
I am sure that Lee is still singing and hope that thought brings comfort to his family and friends!
I will miss Lee very much. I had the privilege of getting to know Lee a few years ago through St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Friendship. He ministered our parish with his robust singing voice during the weekend services. I also got to know him as a friend. We regularly talked via phone, short visits at his shared property and lunch/dinner outings with my sister, Carmen. He loved talking about Chicago, his siblings, and when he could karaoke at The Old Mill in Arkdale.
I will remember Lee as a grateful person whose faith was center in his life. Every encounter ended with him saying,” I will see/talk with you… the good Lord willing”. God Bless you.
Thank you for your service to our country, our church and my life. You mattered a lot and I miss you.
Love, Nina
THE LAST OF THE KESLINS IN ADAMS, HE WILL BE MISSED AS JOE WHO PRECEDED HIM.
