Lester A. Galbraith, age 91, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin. 
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Richard Church will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Military rites will be offered at the graveside service by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Lester was born June 20, 1915 in Friendship, Wisconsin to Delvin and Mae (Englebretson) Galbraith. He graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1933. Lester married Dorothy Dehmlow on June 8, 1940 in Pleasant Prairie, Iowa. He served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater of War. After the war, Lester graduated from MATC in Milwaukee, and returned to Friendship where he worked as a barber for many years. He later worked at the Friendship Post Office until retirement.
Lester enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Lester was a member of the Adams VFW Post #6279 and the American Legion Red Cloud Post #250.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delvin and Mae Galbraith and his son, John Galbraith.
