Linda J. Loring

Linda J. Loring, age 77, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Memorial services for both Linda and her husband Willie were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Arising Christian Church in Friendship. Rev. Dennis Quinnell officiated. Visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the Church.

Linda was born May 19, 1947, in Harvey, Illinois to James and Lottie (Wrotney). She married Willard R. “Willie” Loring on June 2, 1984, in Freeport, Illinois. Linda became a 3-year graduate RN later in life. She took care of pediatric ICU children for over 20 years. She was active in the Red Hat Club and referred to herself as Madame Dragonfly. She also had a very active Red Hat Club with her immediate. Linda was an avid quilter. She made many baby and prayer quilts for friends and family. She knitted and spun her own yarn.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband: Willie; parents: James & Lottie; stepdaughter: LeAnne Golden; great-granddaughter: Elise Moyer, in-laws: Donna, Joyce, and Dwayne.

Survivors include her daughter: Robin Timmer; stepdaughter: Toni (Randy) Picha; stepson: Kevin Loring; grandchildren: Chad Picha, Angie Picha, Brad (Taryn) Golden, Michael Golden, Jared Loring, Sarah (Chris) Moyer, Meghan (Andy) Stith; great-Grandchildren: Ember, Ireland, Kara, Brooke, Ryan, Megan, Sonni, Dante, Kaylyn, Charleigh, Kaylie, Aubriella, and Madalynn.
