Louis Wayne Sumpter, age 74, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away July 27, 2013 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Louis was born November 21, 1938 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Jep and Edna (Boston) Sumpter.
He married Kathleen E. Beller on September 28, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa. Louis retired in 2004 and they moved to Friendship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jep & Edna Sumpter

Son: Wayne Edward (Catherine) Sumpter of Waukesha, Wisconsin

Son: Thomas (Peggy) Sumpter of Friendship, Wisconsin
Daughter: Jenifer (Christopher) Prophet of Friendship, Wisconsin
Daughter: Laura Sumpter of Waukesha, Wisconsin
Fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren
Sister: Maxine LaFratta of Waukesha, Wisconsin
I still see Wayne riding that motorcycle to work every day he could. I loved him like a second dad. I hope the angels take good care of him. I love all of you and miss you all. I hope he and my parents are once again neighbors in heaven. Hugs to you Kate. You helped me grow into the woman I am today. Bless you Kathy, Ed, Brenda, Tom, Jenny and Laurie.
Wayne was a special person and he will be missed. The loss of this friend is heaven’s gain.
