Margaret Ione Williams Allen, age 89, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the First Christian Church in Janesville, WI.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday, June 23, 2007 from 12 Noon until the time of service.
Interment will be private at the Milton Lawn Memorial Park, Janesville, Wisconsin.
Margaret was born July 4, 1917 in Beckley, West Virginia to George Wentworth and Russie Ione (Gore) Williams. She married E. Kenneth Allen on April 9, 1939 in Beckley, West Virginia. The couple retired to Wisconsin in 1984.
Margaret enjoyed tending to her flowers, sewing, bird watching, and participating in her church.
Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church Janesville and a past President of the womens fellowship.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth; brothers Wentworth and Julian Williams; and sisters Lucille Amick and Helen Dole.
