Marilyn C. Palmer

Marilyn C. Palmer, age 75, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship.   Father Francis Dias will officiate.  Interment will be at the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Marilyn was born May 15, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Thomas and Anne (Ternes) Marcus.

She graduated from Port Washington High School.

Marilyn’s first marriage to Mark H. Puerling was blessed with three children, Mark, Michelle, and Michael. Her second marriage to Royal W. Palmer blessed her with Darin and her three step-children.

Marilyn enjoyed socializing, watching birds, going for long car rides, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Anne Marcus; First Husband, Mark H. Puerling; Second Husband, Royal Palmer, and nephew, Timothy Bohlen.

Son:  Mark Puerling of Iowa City, Iowa

Daughter:  Michelle (Joel Fell) Puerling of Adams, Wisconsin

Son:  Michael Puerling of Friendship, Wisconsin

Son:  Darin (Joy) Palmer of Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Step-Children:  Ernest, Charlotte, and Edward Palmer of Iowa

Sister:  Sharon (John) Bohlen of Saukville, Wisconsin

Grandchildren:  Victoria & Christina Scurto, Alicia Puerling, and Wyatt & Cody Palmer

Niece:  Susan (Mark) Grebenor of Texas

Niece:  Debbie (Robert) Wagner of Saukville, Wisconsin

    I worked with Marilyn several years ago at Community Programs. She was a job coach for the disabled and she was great with the people we helped and they thrived under her guidance. She always brought a ray of sunshine with her!

    She was my Moms best friend and when playing bingo or Ny other game, the were labeled the “rowdy” table and everyone loved it. Your Mother had a very big heart and always keep the smile she had in your heart.
