Mary A. Clinton

Mary A. Clinton, age 97, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

A celebration of life will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Interment will be at the Big Flats Cemetery, on November 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate.

Mary was born January 31, 1921, in Yuba, Wisconsin to Emil and Anna (Rott) Pacl.

She graduated from Viroqua High School in 1938.

Mary married Tilman Thorkildsen which ended in divorce. She later married Robert Clinton on January 8, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mary enjoyed sewing, doing word searches & plastic canvas, bird watching, listening to Polka, playing with her grandkids, going shopping, playing Dominos & Solitaire, and cheering for any team that wasn’t the Green Bay Packers.

She spent most of her life as a housewife taking care of her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Emil & Anna Pacl; brothers, Ernest, Martin, and Robert Pacl; sisters, Erma (Byron) Bluem, Eva Pacl; Edith (Randall) Rand; Betty (William) Thompson; granddaughter, Shauna Anderson; grandson, Tilman Anderson; great-great-grandson, Jax Anderson; father-in-law & mother-in-law Arthur & Mary Clinton, and many other family members.
