Mary A. Fechner (Mortensen) age 74, of Oxford, formerly of Madison passed away on February 23, 2012 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin after a long illness. She was born on March 13, 1937 to Aage and Louise Mortensen. She graduated from Madison East High School and worked for many years in the Madison area. She retired from Rock Tenn Packaging Co. and spent her retirement years in her home in the woods near Oxford. She loved nature and the animals that shared her yard. She will be greatly missed! Mary was a wonderful woman. She had a way of stealing my heart. I will not forget her. She will be missed. I have my memories of her that i will hold on to forever. I am sorry for your loss and i know she is no longer suffering.
