Mary Ann Parks

Mary Ann Parks, age 96, of Brooks, Wisconsin died Friday, April 16, 2010 at her home following a long illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Brooks, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee and Monsignor John Hebl will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Brooks, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

Mary was born November 30, 1913 in Oxford, Wisconsin to Frank and Almeda (Bell) Wroblski. She attended Glen Oaks and the Catholic School in Montello. Mary was married Barton Waite, they made their home in Brooks, WI, before moving Westport, Wisconsin. Barton passed away in 1946. Mary and her sons moved back to Brooks. She married Donald Parks on November 13, 1948 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Mary enjoyed crocheting, teaching others to crochet, making afghans, playing cards, collecting dolls and plates.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Almeda Wroblski; and brother, Frank Brill; and sister, Lette Aduci.
