Mary E. Ashworth

Mary E. Ashworth, age 72, of Coloma, Wisconsin died Tuesday, December 01, 2015 at her home.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11th, 2015 at the South Burr Oak Methodist Church in Coloma, Wisconsin. Rev. Candy Lisiecki will officiate. Interment will be at the White Cemetery, Town of Coloma, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at South Burr Oak Methodist Church.

Mary was born July 28, 1943 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Joe H. and Esther (Paulson) Smart.

She married William H. Ashworth on June 24, 1961 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. She and Bill owned and operated the Ashworth Feed and Implement Store in Coloma and a convenience store on Hwy 21. Mary also worked at the Postal Service.

Mary enjoyed reading and listening to music.

Mary was a member of South Burr Methodist Church, where she played organ for many years.

Memorials may be directed in Mary’s memory to the Coloma Library.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joe H. and Esther (Paulson) Smart; husband, William Ashworth; and son, Howard Ashworth.

Grandchild: Andrew Ashworth of Bancroft, Wisconsin
Brother: Michael (Penny) Smart of LaGrange, Georgia
Brother: Benning (Donna) Smart of Sierra Vista, AZ
