Mary Lou was born July 31,1936 in IL to Louis and Mary (Vukasovic) Borelli. Mary Lou grew up in Cicero, IL and graduated in 1955 from J. Morton Sterling East H.S. She met her husband Carl at Morton. They married on September 24,1955. Carl was serving in the Navy at the time, stationed in San Diego, CA. While in San Diego they welcomed two children Mark and Sandra. In June
of 1958, they moved back to IL. In 1961 their first home was built in Lemont, IL. That same year their son Carl Jr. was born. Mary Lou and Carl were one of five original families in the Westbury subdivision, now called Bolingbrook. In 1987 they moved to the Lakewood subdivision of Strongs Prairie, WI. January 2019, Mary Lou moved to Adams. On sunny days you could find Mary Lou sitting on her porch decorated with flower baskets and ceramic figurines. Mary Lou joined the Red Hatters and participated in the exercise program for Sr's.
Mom and Dad enjoyed fishing at Castlerock Lake and Leech Lake in Walker, MN. Mary Lou had a variety of jobs over the years once her youngest started school. Her last job was at Ocean Spray. Mom went to a ceramics class in the '80's and enjoyed it so much she started "Ceramics by Lou" in IL and Adams, WI. Mary Lou had an easy-going nature, sense of humor and a wonderful smile that we will all miss. Mary Lou was "Grandma" to five grandchildren whom she loved. Four great grandchildren whom she never met.
She and her cousins stayed connected over the years. This November her cousin and family from Texas visited her. Mary Lou kept ties with childhood friends and people she has known through the years. Her refrigerator is filled with photos of family and friends. Mary Lou was a breast cancer survivor.

With deepest sympathy to Mary Lou’s family so very sorry for your loss.
Even through it has been many years since we visited Mary Lou I have thought of her often.
She always was so pleasant and sweet and happy and fun to be with.
May she rest in peace now with her loving hubby Carl.
Sad to hear of Mary Lou’s passing. Got to know her and Carl on visits down to the Corner Bar and 4th of July celebrations with my Dad. About as nice and down to earth folks as there were. Our condolences . Brian and Susan Jensen

Such a wonderful person.
Rest peacefully!
I always enjoyed talking with Mary Lou at the library or when I would run into her around town. Such a sweet lady, always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. She will be missed.
Always a smile and kind words. My condolences.
Absolutely loved this lady! We all miss her smile and her giggle!
Sorry to hear of Mary Lou’s passing. She was a sweet lady. Loved taking her ceramics class while I lived in Arkdale.
I am so sorry for your loss. She had that smile with a little giggle when she talked. Over the past 20+ years of doing her hair she was always kind hearted, talked highly of her family. I heard many wonderful stories about her and Karls fishing trips/
vacations. She sure has been missed around the salon.
My deepest sympathies
