Milton Harry Heeren

Heeren282_webMilton Harry Heeren, age 91, of Westfield passed peacefully Monday, February 15, 2016 at his home of ten years, Harris Villa.

Milton was born February 1, 1925 to Benjamin and Margaret Heeren in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He moved to West Allis, where he worked at the Pioneer Tractor Company. Milton was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Navy in the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa Arena until 1945.

He married Ada May Shutz on November 16, 1960. He retired from the Fox Lake Correctional Institute in 1965.

Proud of his military service, he was a member of VFW Post 8718. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being an amateur radio operator – KB9CFO signing off.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and his wife, Ada.

Milton is survived by his sister, Margie Herst of Waukesha.

Interment will be at the Harrisville Cemetery at a later date.
