She was the youngest of 12, born in La Porte, IN on September 25, 1941 to Jesse and Ada (Stanage) Galloway. She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 brothers, and 1 sister. Survived by her partner of 20 years, Albert Starling; 2 sons: Jim Smith and Jeff (Mary) Smith; and a daughter, Tammy (Mike) Istvanek. Further survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed listening to and singing country music and watching hummingbirds outside her kitchen window. She had an outgoing personality, a kind caring heart, and loved getting together with family and friends.
She will be missed dearly.

This world was truly blessed having Nancy in it, having her gone will leave a huge void that can never be replaced. She was the sweetest, kindest and most generous woman I have ever know and I will miss her more than words can explain. She treated everyone she knew with such love and compassion and I was truly blessed to be one of those people. I will forever think of you as a mother and an amazing grandmother to my son.
