Neil Saunders

Saunders_webNeil Saunders, age 53, of Friendship died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at Quincy Cemetery. Mr. David Lay will officiate.

Neil trained as a welder but discovered he like to cook, and did that for most of the last 30 years. People who knew him will remember him as a shy, funny, mischievous person, with a kind heart and tender soul, he was always ready to help when someone was in need. He liked Jeeps and was constantly looking to buy, trade, or sell one or another, fixing them up and trading for something else. All of his life he liked to fish and any time he wasn’t working, cutting wood, tinkering, or junking, he was probably fishing. As memorial and in lieu of flowers any donations made and will be used in the purchase of the permanent marker for his grave at Quincy Cemetery.

Neil was preceded in death by his father, Chester Saunders.
