Norm – It was a blessing to have you as my brother in my life. I’ll miss our chats over the phone. I’ll ALWAYS love you. May you rest in peace.
Love,
Nancy
During the 1960’s and 1970’s I recall, as a child, traveling to Wisconsin and visiting my Grandparents and Uncles and Aunt. Uncle Norm, as I remember was always similing. I recall waking up in the house we had in Wauconda, and finding Norm sleeping on our couch and how funny it was to me, as a little kid, to see him wearing his glass as he slept. I also remember that he constantly read the Bible – I hope that he understood it.
I miss you so much already Uncle Norm!! Every time I saw you you ALWAYS had a smile on your face!! I could never forget the smile you had. You were loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. I am sorry that I won’t be able to say good bye but its never good bye as they say. You are in a better place now. I know you will be looking down. You will ALWAYS be in my thoughts. Rest In Peace Uncle Norm!! I LOVE YOU!!
Norm I will miss you. Your visits to the office on the days I came in were looked forward to. If you are looking down, please know you were loved and counted as a friend. “Hubby” sends his love also.
Ski and Gloria: God Bless you two for the excellent care that you gave your brother over the years. God be with you and all of Norm’s family at this difficult time. Kay
To my Uncle Norm: We miss you dearly already. You always could put a smile on my father, Lenny’s face, or any one whose path you crossed. What a gift you were to so many! I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the service. Dad, Aunt Nancy, and Uncle Al, please know that I have a candle lit and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I think heaven has a new angel to watch over all of those you care about. Norm, you were an awesome friend, and a sweetheart of a man. We were proud to call you friend and neighbor. We miss you already. Godspeed, and may you rest in peace. To the Ciskowski Family: Our deepest sympathy to each of you. May God grant you peace in your time of grief.
Though the years & miles have separated my father & I, we shared phone calls almost every Sunday & cards that showed that we still were able to connect. I can’t travel the many miles to say goodbye, but my spirit will be there. Sending blessings & prayers to my farther (Norman) & sending condolences to all those who was a part of his & our lives.
Rest In Peace
Dad
