Oscar was born February 15, 1926 in Holmsville, Wisconsin to Carl and Hannah Rosgard Holm. Oscar lived for most of his years in the community named after his family. For a few years in the 1950s he
worked in Kenosha and Milwaukee but returned to his childhood home in Holmsville, known by most today as Dellwood. There he had many dear friends, and just as importantly was a dear friend to many. An easy smile and contagious laugh made spending time with Oscar a pleasure.
He worked as an auto mechanic with the local Ford dealership. He was often available and enjoyed helping friends and neighbors with tasks, as well as the social assembly that would follow.
Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Hannah Rosgard Holm; sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Roy Barnes; sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Harvey Smith; sister, Helen Holm; nephew, Orlando Stormoen; and great-nephew, David Barnes.
    Survivors include his

Nephew: Herb (Deb) Barnes of Friendship, Wisconsin
Niece: Cathy Barnes of Madison, Wisconsin
