Patricia "Patty" G. Zynda, age 76, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional service.
Friends may call at Roseberry’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 Noon until the time of service.
Patty was born September 20, 1932 in Watertown, South Dakota to Theodore and Sally (DeWolfe) Ward. The family moved to Milwaukee in the 1940s. She married Robert Zynda on October 24, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Patty worked with her husband at their body shop "59 Auto Body Shop" in Waukesha before moving to Adams County in 1964. She later worked with him at their business, "Ace Auto Body Shop" in Adams. Patty also drove school bus for the Adams County School District for 13 years.
Patty was also very involved in raising, training and boarding horses. Patty was a 4-H leader in the horse and pony division.
Patty enjoyed watching her husband race stock and vintage race cars.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Sally Ward; and brothers: Wayne, Dean, and Teddy Ward.

My deepest sympathies go out to my Grandma and Uncle Bob for their huge loss. I will always remember Aunt Pats strength and feistiness. She was a wonderful and caring person and will be greatly missed. I am really sorry that I will not be able to pay my respects at the funeral but my thougths and prayers will be with all my family.
