Patrick Samuel “Buck” Witcraft, age 62, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away suddenly following a short illness on February 14, 2014 at his home.
A memorial gathering will be from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship.
Patrick was born January 20, 1952 to Ellsworth and Margaret (Grant) Witcraft. He attended Adams-Friendship High School and following his graduation attended Mid-State for auto-mechanics. Buck married Janeane Schroeder in 1978 in Adams. He worked at Ranks bar, the Wisconsin Rapids School District for 16 years and Pats 76 Around the Clock prior to his retirement.
Buck enjoyed working on cars and watching sports, especially football and NASCAR. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodcutting.
During his illness he was fortunate enough to have his daughter April to take care of him and he will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellsworth & Margaret Witcraft.

Former wife: Janeane (Richard) Stevens of Adams, Wisconsin
Brother: Michael Witcraft of Stevens Point, Wisconsin
Aunt: Shirley Grant of Hillsboro, Wisconsin
Further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
Special companion: spooky the cat
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Witcraft family.

Sorry to hear of Pat’s loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I grew up with Pat in grade school and high school. I remember going to Boy Scout Camp together. Pat was a great guy and even though I haven’t seen him much since graduation I always considered him a friend. RIP my friend.
I enjoyed seeing him at pool and around town. Buck will be missed. You are in our prayers.
