Peter was born June 25, 1935 in Mauston, Wisconsin to John Walter and Alvera (Davis) Steen. He enlisted in the United States Army when he was 17 and served in the Korean War.
Peter married Jennie Lea Randall on October 12, 1963 in Necedah, Wisconsin. He drove truck most of his life and loved to hunt, fish, and travel with his grandson.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jennie; son, Anthony Steen; one grandson (his buddy), Jason Peter Steen; granddaughter, Amelia Grace Steen; four brothers, and two sisters.
