Ramon Roy Witz

Ramon Roy Witz, age 84, of Strongs Prairie, Wisconsin passed away January 19, 2014 at the Strawberry Lane Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the East Arkdale Cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Ramon was born February 21, 1929 in Maywood, Illinois to Ksawery and Lora Witz.

He married Louise Mucha on April 22, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Ramon was employed as Union Boilermaker Local #107 out of Brookfield, Wisconsin.

He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, gardening and gambling.

Ramon was preceded in death by parents, Ksawery & Lora Witz; wife, Louise Witz; brothers, Henry & Robert Witz and sister, Irene Manthey

Son: Ramon (Cheri) Witz of Friendship, Wisconsin
Son: James (Sabrena Krier) Witz of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Son: Glenn (Debi) Witz of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Tammy (Jim) McNulty of Burlington, Wyoming
Grandson: Jeremy (Tracy Klumb) Witz of Friendship, Wisconsin
Grandson: Ramon Witz III of St. Cloud, Minnesota
Grandson: Tony (Amanda) Peters of Watertown, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Tracey Peters of Waukesha, Wisconsin
Grandson: Kyle Haumschild of Necedah, Wisconsin
Grandson: Daniel Witz of Adams, Wisconsin
9 Great-Grandchildren
Brother: Arthur (Marian) Witz of Madison, Wisconsin
He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

    So sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. Enjoyed many visits with him talking about old times and other friends and family long gone. I was hard to get rid of Uncle Hanks plow truck but I know he enjoyed and appreciated it. Rest in peace dear neighbor and sincere sympathy to all in his family. H e was so proud of all ofyou.
