Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Terri Skildum will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home. Military honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Interment will be at the Mt. Repose Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Richard was born September 17, 1932 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Edwin and Evelyn (Mosher) Patzkowsky. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Air Force. He married Iris Lawrence on January 9, 1953 in Eau Clare, Michigan. The couple made their home in Eau Clare before moving to Friendship, Wisconsin in 1968. Richard worked at Lewis Container and later for the C&NW railroad from which he retired in 1992.
Richard enjoyed bowling, golf, hunting, fishing, tending to his yard and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Richard was a member of the Adams VFW Post #6279, and Adams Masonic Lodge.
Memorials may be directed to the Adams County Humane Society.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Patzkowsky; mother, Evelyn (Pete) Edinger; and sister-in-law, Mary Patzkowsky.

It wasn’t that long ago that we sat and visited in the waiting room at Riverview Hospital talking about your beautiful yard, so I was sad to see that your hubby (and Father) had passed.
