Robert A. Potter
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert A Potter, age 82, on May 1, 2025.
Born the youngest of nine children to Fred and Rena of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, Robert lived a life rooted in love and dedication for his family. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he served his country with honor before devoting his life to those he cherished most.
Robert was a hardworking, determined man who gave everything he had to his family. His strength of character shaped the lives of those he loved, and though he could be strong in his ways, his devotion was unquestionable and deeply felt.
For 59 wonderful years, Robert shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Betty Lou (Winchel) Potter. He was devoted father to David K. (Lisabeth) Potter and Susan L. (James) West, and a proud grandfather to Ian G. (Alexandra) Denton, Connor A. (Brenden) Johnson, and Robert E. Potter. His greatest joy was his family, and his love and will live on through them.
Robert’s strength, and quiet wisdom touched everyone who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit remains forever in our hearts.
Condolences for Betty may be sent in care of Susan West, 2120 S. Custer Rd., Monroe, MI 48161.
To Susan, Dave and most of all Betty. I am so very sorry to hear about Bob. He was like a second father to me. You all have my prayers and sympathy. God bless you all.
So sorry for your family’s loss….
