
Robert Frank Shaske
Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Bay View Cemetery, Necedah, Wisconsin at a later date.
Robert was born June 23, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to George Edwin and Mae Elizabeth (Stevens) Shaske. He married Arlene Mary Houk on September 11, 1954 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Sullivan, Wisconsin. They made their home in Dousman, Wisconsin before moving to Grand Marsh, Wisconsin in 1976. Robert owned and operated Shaske Welding.
Robert enjoyed hunting, model airplanes, bead work, dart leagues, snowmobiling, boating, raising his animals, horseback riding, stock car racing, and riding his Harley Davidson.
Robert was a member of Dousman and New Chester Fire Departments, serving each department as Fire Chief; Boy Scout Leader, an Instructor for Dousman Snowmobile Club, and member of the Abate Motorcycle Club for 35 years.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mae Shaske; sister-in-law, Anita Shaske.

Daughter: Charlotte Ann (Jim Laack) Shaske of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin
Son: Michael Robert (Dianna) Shaske of Wales, Wisconsin
Son: Robert George (Sally Reise) Shaske of Friendship, Wisconsin
Daughter: Karen May (Bruce) Shaske-Burks of DeLand, Florida
Son: Russel James (Rose) Shaske of West Palm Beach, Florida
12 Grandchildren
20 Great-Grandchildren
