Robert J. Jorandby

Robert J. Jorandby

Robert (Bob) Jorandby passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2026. He was born on June 2, 1940, the son of Oliver and Mildred (Duske) Jorandby. He married Donna Cichy on October 14, 1961, and together they were blessed with two sons, William and Richard. Bob was a graduate of Necedah High School, Class of 1958. He pursued a career in masonry and took great pride in bricklaying. A true perfectionist in his craft, Bob worked in the trade for 44 years.

Bob loved caring for his dogs, from the first one he had in high school to those he had later in life. Sassy and Penny were his faithful companions, who loved sitting on his lap and getting pet by him.

Bob was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church, where he served on various committees. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. He also loved spending time outdoors doing yard work and helping in the garden, and he took pride in mowing his three acres of grass. After retiring, Bob especially looked forward to his weekly trips to the VFW Hall in Necedah, where he spent time with his many friends, visiting and sharing stories and wisdom.

Bob is survived by his wife, Donna; his sons, William (Donna) and Richard (Shelly); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Cole) Benson, Brandon (Meghan) Jorandby, Joshua (Samantha) Jorandby, Nathan (Krissey) Jorandby, Samantha (Jordan) Drier, and Emily Kellner; his great-grandchildren, Harper, Juniper, Declan, Quinn, Evelyn, Chandler, and James; his sister, Sandy (Glen) Jensen; his sister-in-law, Phyllis (Louie) Skoubis; his brother-in-law, Dan (Mechelle) Cichy; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Mildred Jorandby; his father- and mother-in-law, Dan and Dolly Cichy; and his brother- and sister-in-law, Jim and Pat Becker.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the United Methodist Church in Necedah, Wisconsin (605 N. Harvey Street). Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will be held at the Necedah Veterans Memorial Hall following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob’s name may be made to the United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
