Robert R. Walders

Robert "Bob" R. Walders, age 70, of Adams, Wisconsin died Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at his home following a sudden illness.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Mt. Repose Cemetery in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate.

Bob was born July 29, 1937 in Portage, Wisconsin to Frank and Louise Walders. He was baptized November 26, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI. He grew up in Adams, WI graduating from Adams-Friendship High School in 1955. Bob served his country in the Army National Guard during the Berlin Crisis with the 32nd Infantry Division. He worked as a firefighter for Badger Ordnance and Tomah VA Hospital. Bob was a long time member of the Adams Volunteer Fire Department, joining in 1955 attaining the rank of Assistant Chief.

Bob was a committed fireman with 38 years of dedicated service to the Fire Department and the community.

Bob married Sharon Delores Richardson on September 25, 1961. This marriage later ended in divorce.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Kim Walders.

Son: Danny Walders of Adams, Wisconsin
Son: Randy (Robin) Walders of Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Bryanna Walders of Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Grandson: John Baer of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Ashley Baer of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
