Karen, Rick and all the Heitman family:
So very sorry for your loss. May your memories keep your father close to you.
The last time I saw Bob, which wasn’t many weeks ago, he ask me if I’d be their babysitter again if he decided to have more kids. LOL I told him sure, I babysat the first batch so I’d do it again! Another Easton neighbor gone. Many memories. Rick, Karen, Deb and Mike, the rest of the family and Georgia, I know you’re all going to miss him so much and we all will too. Hugs to all.
I am so sorry for your loss, I’ve known Bob my whole life. He and my brothers would shoot crows out by my mother’s garden, and they would give Sue and I a bucket to pick them up,one grabbed onto Sue’s finger and she started howling, (Bob saved her life, I thought it was pretty funny.)We had such fun following around the big boys when we were little.
Bob, will be dearly missed! He was one of the young guard of the old time deer hunters when I joined the group as a high schooler in the late 60’s early 70’s. Those old family deer drives with lunch at the trailer were one of a kind! RIP my friend, the hole in my heart got larger with your passing! Say hi to Col. Ingrahm, John Derr, Rich Jahn, Bun and Gin Stone and my Dad! In heaven you should be young again to drive deer without us!
So sorry to hear about your loss, he will be missed! Sending thoughts and prayers.
I hope the Heitman family will have a beer to celebrate Bob`s long life.

When I saw Bob’s name on here I was flooded with memories. My husband
Dick lived in the Springville area and I remember tales of Bob driving and others on their ski’s after a big snow storm. We’ve known Bob & Lorna since high school. His sister Lois was a BFF in high school. Then Bob & Lorna built a house across from the Hermann’s, my in-laws,
in Easton. Over the years we saw Bob, Lorna, and their family many times when we drove “up north.” Our children got to be friends. I’m thankful for the kindness Bob and family especially Bob, Mike and Cherie showed my brother-in-law David a parapalegic
during his life. I saw Bob last at an Alumni Banquet. Rest In Peace dear friend.
Sincere condolences to Bob’s family. He was a great guy. Glad I got to help and know him the past few years.
Also, seeing him at the corner pump. He always said howdy neighbor!
