Roger E. Hustad
A celebration of life will be from Noon until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Big Flats Town Hall in Big Flats, Wisconsin followed by drinks at the Bighorn Bar.
Roger was born August 27, 1945, to Amos and Rachel Hustad. He married Florence Kipfer on October 15, 1988, in McFarland, Wisconsin. Together they owned and operated their own Over the Road Trucking Company and would often ride together both taking their turn driving.
Roger enjoyed professional football, especially the Packers, watching movies, westerns, working in his yard, taking care of and driving his semi along with Florence, and talking and telling stories to his children and the younger generation of truck drivers over some PBR or Jack Daniels. He was friends to many and will be greatly missed.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents: Amos & Rachel; siblings: Donald & Robert Hustad, Sandy (John) Meinhardt, Carol (Bill) Krueger, and Inga (Dick) Geiger.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; children: Dale (Wendy) Kipfer, Tracy (Julie) Hustad, David Hustad, Michelle (Dion) Kuska & Laurie Hustad; brother: John (Juanita) Hustad; sisters-in-law: Lois Hustad & Lillian Hustad, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews.
