Dear Barb and family,
Ken Mahuta just sent me the newspaper message that your Roger passed away. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I know Roger is now safe in the hands of his Savior, and we will see him again.
It was a pleasure to have Rog on my OFC Board. He always brought a sense of history to those meetings…and usually a good laugh or two. Do you know that I still have a couple of his home-made spinnerbaits tucked away in some fishing boxes? Altho his love for fishing came pretty high on his list, he truly loved all of you more.
Sometimes we talked about our faith, and it was always a joy to see his trust resting on Jesus, our Savior. God bless and our prayers will be with you.
Our prayers are with you and your family. I remember when he use to make the fishing bait and backyard parties at the house in West Allis. Love Steve and Ann
Dear Barb and Family,
There are so many of us that will look back and remember Roger’s kindness, his easy smile and thoughtful ways. The OFC will always hold Roger in high regard. He taught so many, so much. Those of us that are lucky enough to have one of his wood burnings will remember him each time we look at it and enjoy his art. Our hearts to go out to you in your loss. We will keep you, Barb, and your family in our prayers.
Heartfelt sympathy to you Barb and your family on your loss. I’ll always remember and appreciate Roger as friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He seemed to be always cheerful and smiling. We join you in mourning the loss of a one of a kind guy. The world has way too few guys like Roger. He will be missed.
Dear Barb & Family,
Although Jackie and I didn’t get to see Roger very much, we always enjoyed talking to him at the OFC events, especially the club picnic. He was a great guy and enjoyed talking about fishing, making jigs, stories about the early days of the club, and many other things. He will truly be missed by the many club members that knew him and looked forward to seeing him and talking with him. Our heartfelt condolences to Barb, family, and the many others that mourn the loss of Roger. You are in our thoughts in this time of sorrow.
Barb and family, I was very sorry to hear of Rogers passing. You 2 are a very special part of my cardiac rehab family. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to you and yours. Barb D

Barbara and family,
Lynn and I expess our condolences to you and your family. I remember many Board meetings at your house, picnics, and outings for the Okauchee Fishing Club . I always lookd up to Roger as Tool Maker, Fisherman, and a good guy. I have one of his first or maybe the first wood burning that he donated to the OFC Banquet in 1987 of a walleye. I see it everyday and still enjoy it.
