Ronald Edward Collins, age 71, of Adams, Wisconsin died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Drue Erdmann will officiate. Interment will be at the Gould Rock Cemetery, Town of New Chester, Adams County, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Ronald was born April 20, 1936 in Adams, Wisconsin to Marvin and Mary (McChesney) Collins. Following High School Ron served in the Army for six years. Ron owned and operated Ronald E. Collins Pulpwood and Logging from 1961 until the present time. He married Shirley Rettschlag-Erdmann on October 3, 1980 in Adams, Wisconsin.
Ronald enjoyed working, reading, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Ronald was a member of the Arising Christian Church in Friendship.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Marvin Collins Jr., and his sister, Donna Keefe.
