Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 at St. Methodius Catholic Cemetery. Father David Bruener will officiate.
Rose was born May 20, 1941, to Joseph and Cecelia Wirkes in Oshkosh. Rose married Norbert Potter on September 11, 1965 in Oshkosh WI. Rose was the owner and operator with Norbert of the Coloma Liquor Store for 20 years. Her favorite pastimes were reading a book a day, watching her beloved Green Bay Packers and working in her many gardens, she was also involved in the Coloma Garden Club.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Norbert, her two daughters Cathy Casey and significant other Jessie Redmond, Jean Potter both of Coloma. Brother Donald (Dorothy) Wirkes of Florida, grandsons Schae and Tarin Casey both of Coloma, 1 granddaughter Tira Casey, France.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Wirkes, her mother Cecelia Wirkes, brothers Bill and Jim Wirkes.
The family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the people at Heartland House for all they did for Rose.
Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family.
