Sandra M. Thurber, age 77, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Gundersen Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Harrisville, Wisconsin. Pastor Blaine Niskanen will officiate. Interment will be at the Harrisville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.

Sandra was born August 8, 1947, in Ripon, Wisconsin to Clinton and Mildred (Adams) Kolpin. She graduated from Westfield High School in 1966. On December 7, 1985, Sandra married Roy Thurber in Westfield, Wisconsin. In her earlier years, Sandra worked as a CNA/Health Technician in Oshkosh and at the Montello Care Center in Montello. She then worked as a cook at the Royal Café in Coloma, Family Affair in Friendship, The Country Skillet in Adams, and lastly the Friendship Café up until her retirement.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Clinton & Mildred.

Survivors include her husband: Roy; children: Kim (Kelly), Jay, and Klinton (Elissa); stepchildren: Dennis (Lavonne), and Donna (Tim); grandchildren: Mike, Tonisha, Dana, Luke, Cammie, Kira, Kayla, Rory, and Sabrina; siblings: Murial, Brad (Virginia), Beverly (Scott), Annette (Scott), and Gayle (Bob)
