Sherri Lynn Buchanan-Sobczak

Sherri Lynn Buchanan-Sobczak, age 44, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Monday, September 26, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family following an eight year battle with cancer.

Private family services were held.

Sherri was born August 10, 1967 in Adams, Wisconsin to Glenn and Marlene (Grignano) Buchanan. She graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1985 and later worked as a registered nurse. Sherri loved animals, and especially loved to ride horses.

Survivors include her three sons: Jordan Buchanan, Michael Stewert, and Max Sobczak; Mother, Marlene Grignano; Father, Glenn (Roxanne) Buchanan; Grandmother, Margaret Heitman; sisters: Cindy Buchanan and Bobbi (Phil) Hiller; Nephews: Alex Buchanan-Meitner, John Bakovka, and Meredith Meitner.

Roseberry’s Funeral Home is assisting the family.

    Sherri and I went to Roche-A-Cri together and then again all through high school. I am saddened with this news. Sherri was a real sweetheart and always had a smile on her face.
