Sophie Marie Gaynor, age 94, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Memorial services are planned for a later date in Sebring, FL.
Sophie was born January 31, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois to Vincent and Mary Tomal. She married John Gaynor on Jan. 27, 1939 in Chicago, IL. The couple lived in Chicago initially before moving to Twin Lakes, WI in 1952. They retired to Florida in 1972.
Sophie enjoyed a variety of crafts including knitting, crocheting, and quilting.
Sophie was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, John Gaynor (1985); and a Brother, Frank Tomal.

Son: Tom (Alice) Gaynor of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Lauren Gaynor of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Robin Vanderwerff of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin
Great Grandchild: Kristen Vanderweff of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin
Great Grandchild: Tim Vanderweff of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin
The family would like to acknowledge the quality of service and care provided by the staff of Villa Pines Living Center and also Liberty Manor.
Sophie was such a nice girl I wish I would of gotten to know her better but I just started working at Villa Pines as a CNA.
