Stephen J. Hencsik Jr., age 72, of Mauston, Wisconsin passed away on January 3, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
Stephen was born September 26, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Stephen and Henrietta Hencsik. He attended Pulaski High School in Milwaukee. He married Shannon Evans on May 7, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They were married for 50 years. The couple lived in Milwaukee and raised their family there. They retired to the Mauston area 12 years ago.
Stephen enjoyed spending time with his close friends in Mauston. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and family time.
He was very active with the Boys & Girls Club and was a Boy Scout Master in Milwaukee for 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shannon Hencsik; parents: Stephen & Henrietta Hencsik; sisters: Frances & Nancy; nephew, Corey Taczala; and brother-in-law, Richard Taczala.

Niece: Sheila Chester of Caledonia, Wisconsin
Further survived by other relatives and many good friends.
