Susanna M. Vanderhoof

Susanna M. Vanderhoof, age 78 of Adams, passed peacefully in her sleep, at home with her daughter AnnMarie, on June 24, 2024, after a short battle with Leukemia.

Susanna loved people. She was always there to listen or help in any way she could. When friends would come to visit, they were always greeted with a smile, and no visit ended without a hug and an “I love you.” Susanna’s greatest joys in life were phone calls with her long time friend Bonnie, visits from friends and family, spending time with her daughter, AnnMarie, her adopted grandchildren, Hazlee and Bentley, and dogs Cooper and Lincoln.

Susanna was proceeded in death by her Parents: Byron and Viola Tuttle; Husband: Calvin Vanderhoof, Brothers: Johnny, Jimmy and Richard (Donna) Tuttle; Sisters: Ellen (Bob) Poiselle, Dorothy Vanderhoof, and Joan (Charles) Barnes; Step-daughter: Mary (Chris) Luebke; and Step-son: Harold (Bonnie) Vanderhoof.

She is survived by:
Daughter: AnnMarie Vanderhoof
Step-daughters: Linda (John) Schettko, Theresa (Bob) Weiss, Viola (Hollis) Bensley, Monica (Pat) Brice, Anita (Chris) Ferino, Rita (Bob)Christie.
Step-sons: Calvin Vanderhoof, Michael (Dawn) Vanderhoof, and Paul (Dawn) Vanderhoof.
Brother: Edward Tuttle
And many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a celebration of life potluck on Saturday July 20, 2024 from 10-4 at the Easton-White Creek Lions Park, in White Creek, WI.

Susanna will be cremated and laid to rest in the White Creek Cemetery, next to her husband.

    Words cannot say how sad this is. I met Sue because our daughters became friends while in college. It was so fun the mother daughter visits and yes a few cookouts. She was a truly beautiful women who will be greatly missed. Sue always faced things with a smile, I will always remember that. Thinking of you ann, so sorry for your loss. Heaven has gained another beautiful star.

    I have had the pleasure of getting to know Susan in the past. I had never met a more sweet and wonderful woman. She always spoke so highly of her family, especially Annmarie and how proud she was of all her accomplishments. Susan was truly a wonderful and blessed woman. She will be greatly missed.
