Thomas Charles Ward

Thomas Charles Ward, age 67, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Davis Corners United Methodist Church. Pastor Wesley Jacob will officiate. Interment will be at the Davis Corners Cemetery, Town of Jackson, Adams County, Wisconsin. Military Honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Davis Corners United Methodist Church.

Tom was born March 7, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was adopted by Robert and Della Ward as a child. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army. Tom later retired from the Army following a twenty year commitment. He married Kay Irene Chomyongok on October 25, 1980 in Soul, South Korea. Tom worked as a truck driver following his return to Wisconsin. Tom enjoyed riding his motorcycles. Tom was a member of the Iron Brotherhood.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Della Ward; and his son, Michael Ward.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Irene Ward of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; daughter, Brenda Ward of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; son, Brandon Ward of Sparta, Wisconsin; and 8 Grandchildren. His is further survived by other relatives and friends.

    I am truly sorry of the loss of Tom. I enjoyed working and talking with him. When I seen him Sunday there was so much to catch up on. But I did my job and took care of him and your home. Then we had sometime to talk. I will surely miss him deeply. He was a wonderful man. And I enjoyed and loved what he talked about and how the both of you met.     Sorry to hear about Tom’s passing. I know he suffered from some tough health issues and he fought the good fight.

    The last time I saw Tom was at the 2005 class reunion – he was the first one to come up to me with a very welcoming greeting when I walked in the door.

    We had some good times in high school and those are the memories I will always have with me.

    Dear Kay and family. I am so sorry to hear of Brother Tom’s passing. When I first joined the old BOTN Tom callede me that very 1st. day, since then we had a great friendship. I was lucky enough to spend a few days with Tom at Mike Babbitt’s ranch, I’ll always cherish our friendship and the way Tom so proudly told me of you and the grandchildren. I’m gonna miss him.
