Thomas Joseph Czarnik

Thomas Joseph Czarnik, age 80, of Friendship, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Tom was born on January 3, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph Peter and Lottie B. (Jarosz) Czarnik. He proudly served his country as a Specialist 4 in the 40th Signal Battalion of the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War veteran, serving from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1967. On November 16, 1968, Tom was united in marriage to Susan M. Mazurek at St. Hyacinth Church in Chicago, Illinois. He went on to enjoy a fulfilling 30-year career with AT&T before retiring.

A man of many interests, Tom found great joy in tending his vegetable garden and had a lifelong passion for history and family genealogy.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his sons, Carl T. (Deanne) Czarnik and Curt J. (Valerie) Czarnik; and his cherished grandchildren, Katelyn, Lindsay, Evelyn, Tyler, Kyle, and Benjamin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
