  8. Barbara & Jerry says:

    Diane, Jim and familt:
Last summer we visited our cousins in Wisconsin. Our time spent with Tom at his mother’s home was memorable. He was such an upbeat guy. Always joking, laughing and full of fun. He started his day, every day, having coffee with is mom. He would stop by in the afternoon to visit with us. He was a loving son and a caring, giving person. . Always there for his step dad Clint and his mom and dad. He was a talented, self made man. He designed and built his mom a beautiful home, something he could be proud of. We live in different states and did not see each other often, but we will never forget our cousin Tom. Our love and sympathy to his family, Dianne, Jim, Sue, Debbie, Ron, Rob and Maily. God bless you all. Love, Barbara and Jerry

  9. Jeanne Bahr says:

I just spent Wednesday and Thursday with Dianne, Jim and Sue. On my way to Dianne’s house, I felt Tommy’s presence just driving down that road to Dianne’s house. I thought of Tom going up and down this road everyday of his time in Adams, Wi. I felt the loss of him never doing this again. I felt such a loss that I would never see him again. My husband and I were up visiting with Dianne a week before Tom passed on and it never failed the minute we saw him, there was that great smile and hug and kiss from him. His first words were Hey Cuz’n Jeanne how you doin? I will never hear it again except in my memories. All I have been thinking is that adorable baby Dianne and Jim brought home 49 years ago and the first time I held him, loved him and even changed his diapers even when he peed on me. After Larry and I moved to Lindenhurst, Il, and how close Debbie and Tommy, Lisa and Allen became as children and how they were always together playing at each other’s home. Tommy was always smiling and laughing that wonderful laugh only he had. He grew into a wonderful man. He was very close to his step-dad Clint and was there continuously after Clint became ill and eventually passed away. He was a great caretaker to his mom and helped her maintain her home until his dying day. There wasn’t anything Tom wouldn’t do for anybody. Now I know Tom has found the peace up in Heaven he was always looking for and he is with Clint and all the others that have gone before him. I can picture Tom and Clint walking together in the perfect world in awe of all the joy and beauty around them. They are truly with the Lord. I love you Tommy and you will always be in my heart until I hopefully can be with you again. Our condolences to all of his family that he left behind but know he is still watching over all of you with all of his love.

    Jim and family,
The thing I remember most about Tom is just what so many people mentioned here. His wonderful smile and joking ways brought smiles to those he met. He was so well liked and respected by everyone who met him. I held Tommy in my arms at his baptism. I watched him grow and mature at a distance, but never forgot the special bond I had with him as his godmother and cousin. Tommy grew to be a man of integrity who was loved by so many. I only wish I lived closer to him to enjoy his wonderful personality more often. Tommy was a kind, giving, loving man. I can’t be with him anymore, but he will be with me in spirit, and with me forever in my heart. I extend my love and sympathy to Dianne, Jim, Sue, Debbie, Ron, Rob, Maily and all my cousins who are so saddened by Tommy’s passing. We all share this love;we all share the loss.

  26. Tom & Rhonda Stuart says:

Jim and Sue – while we never had a chance to meet Tom, if he was anything like his Dad he must have been an extremely good man with a lot of class. There are no words — only comfort in knowing that now he can rest in peace and yes, the good Lord asked him to come live with him. God Bless you and your family.

  27. Melody Shawchuck says:

After hearing about this saddening event, I take time to reflect on how people pass through our life for sometimes a very short time. Although we often don’t reconnect, the memories and the impact they stamp on our lives become a great part of us. Tom has always held a special place in my heart. He was a respectible, honest, caring young man. As others do, I always remember him with the largely, beautiful, warming smile. I pray he rest in peace, and that you, as his family, find some solice in your memories and lives with him. He will be remembered! God Bless and keep all of you in your time of grief and loss.

  28. Jack Aguilar says:

As my nephew, I have known Tom his entire life and he was a very special young man to me. We did not communicate as much as I would have liked but whenever I saw Tom I was greeted with a big grin, a hug and some humorous ribbing. He was a joy to chat with and I if I ever needed him, he would be there. A couple years ago I bought a boat in Wisconsin and lived in Texas. Without question, Tom towed the boat down here and I have been enjoying it ever since. He was very special to his grandfather especially after a stroke and to his step father Clint who was dying of cancer. His humor and good spirits went a long way to help them pass from this life with dignity. He was an outstanding son to his mother, Dianne. I do not believe that Tom would ever say no to helping anyone. I will miss him terribly. I can see him at peace in heaven with his friends and relatives who have passed before him. “We will miss you Tom, you were a great influence on many people!!”
