Thomas G. Blake, age 71, of Oxford, Wisconsin died April 24, 2014 at the Wm. S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.  Military Honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Thomas was born February 11, 1943 in Franklin Furnace, Ohio to Cecil Blake and Olive Louise Chapman.   He married Paula E. Niles on December 20, 1969 in Michigan.  He served in the United States Army and later worked as a security guard for many years.

Thomas enjoyed fishing, building things and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife: Paula Blake of Oxford, Wisconsin; his children: daughter, Tina (Grant) Johnson of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; son, Tom (Meagan) Blake of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; son, Daniel Blake of Endeavor, Wisconsin; and daughter, Paulette Stoffels of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; his grandchildren:  Gregory Johnson of Mauston, Wisconsin; Rainee Johnson of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; Dominic Stoffels of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; Jane Stoffels of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; Annashae Blake of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; and Gabby Blake of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; his great-grandchild, Zane Johnson of Baraboo, Wisconsin; his siblings: sister, Patricia (Roger) Williams of Belville, Michigan; sister, Gloria Dufek of Columbia, Michigan; sister, Shirley Miller of Belville, Michigan; brother, Cecil Blake of Michigan; brother, Mike (Sharon) Blake of Belville, Michigan; brothers: John Blake of Texas and Mark (Brenda) Blake of Wheelersburg, Ohio; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
