Viola Betty Anderson

Viola Betty Anderson, age 79, of Beaver Dam (formerly of the Arkdale area), Wisconsin died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 04, 2010 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Interment will be at the Monroe Center Cemetery, Town of Monroe, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Viola was born August 26, 1930 in Arkdale, Wisconsin to George and Katie (Allen) Anderson. She and her sister, Vivian were twins. She went to Hilcrest Elementary and later to the Friendship High School. Viola married Donald George Stormoen, and later married Elmer Kraft.

Viola enjoyed her flowers, especially her roses, spending time with her children and grandchildren, bird watching and nature, dancing, shopping and rummage sales.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents, George and Katie Anderson; brother, Alvin Anderson; Sister-in-law, Valerie Anderson; and Infant Granddaughter, Jessica Holmes.

Twin Sister: Vivian (Egund) Nelson of Camp Douglas, Wisconsin
Brother: Charles (Helen) Anderson of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Sister: Joan (Marshall) Awalt of Newport, NC
Sister: Jeanette Bandt of Friendship, Wisconsin
Brother: Everette (Janet) Anderson of Biron, Wisconsin
Grandchildren: 19
Great-Grandchildren: 19
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Viola was a very generous person, always willing to help others.

    Jeanette, Joan, and Everette — I did not know Viola, but I am sure she was a wonderful lady. I remember in my early years living in Monroe Center down the road from the Andersons and Joan and Jeanette used to babysit for us, and we used to play with Everette. I extend my condolences and sincere sympathy to your entire family.
