Vivian Mary Mathews, age 84, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin passed away on November 8, 2010 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the Town Line Cemetery, Town of Springville, Adams County, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and again at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Vivian was born December 13, 1925 in Aurora, Wisconsin. She married John Mathews on September 14, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. Vivian enjoyed crocheting and going to craft shows with John.
She was preceded in death by her first Husband, Walter Gruca (WWII); Parents; three brothers: Wesley, Jimmy & Norval; and two sisters: Millie & Viola

Son: Edmund (Nancy) Gendvilas of Elgin, Illinois
Daughter: Mary (Tom) Garrett of Phoenix, Arizona
Grandchildren: Gabrielle (Bob) Kosche of Lockport, Illinois
Grandchildren: Bernadett (Tim) of Lockport, Illinois
Granddaughter: Julie (James) Severo of Muncie, Indiana

John- I was saddened to see over the last months Vivian lose the vibrance she once had. Know that she is in a better place. My thoughts are with you and your family in this trying time.
John- I always had the pleasure talking with you when I previously worked at villa pines. Vivian always had such a great smile. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.
