Sorry for your loss. Wally (Mr Myers) was like my second dad growing up on 72nd st. Had a lot of great times sleeping over and going on all those scout trips. All those camp outs, fishing and hunting trips and going to the sports shows will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Mr Myers. You will be missed.

I’m so sorry for everyone’s loss. Uncle Wally was always so fun to be around. Just a giant, jolly, humble human being that will be greatly missed. I remember the camping trips he took me on and the visits “Up North”. I have such fond memories of my uncle and I will cherish those until the end of time. Thanks for being such a great uncle. Once again I’m so sorry for everyone’s loss. He will be missed.

  6. Mary Hudson says:

Wish I could think of something to say to make the sense of loss evaporate. Although it’s a relief to know his struggle is over, there is definitely an empty space. I’m trying to fill it with memories from long ago. As, when in Chicago, he would “honor” me with being invited to join him on his paper route. And then make me climb up all the stairs to upper apartments to deliver the Tribune. I remember the visits to Kenosha with the train in the basement, and who can forget when the sauerkraut exploded!**! Also thinking of all the trips “up North,” which seemed centered around the “pit” garbage dump. I never did see a bear there. Sleep well my brother- you’ve earned the rest. Mary
