Wanda Neinas, age 87, of West Salem (formerly of Adams), Wisconsin died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Lakeview Health Center in West Salem, Wisconsin.
A spring memorial is being planned.
Wanda was born May 26, 1923 in Gnoino, Poland to Andrew and Viktoria (Nowak) Makowka. She lived in Chicago, IL, and later Pittsville, WI. She was married twice, first to Henry Dombrowski and later to Rex Neinas; both marriages ended in divorce. Wanda was a hard worker, and she farmed while she lived in lived in Chili, Wisconsin. Later in life, she made her home in Adams, Wisconsin. Wanda moved to Lakeview Health Center in West Salem due to health issues.
Wanda was preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Viktoria (Nowak) Makowka; sister and brother-in-law, Stella and Michael Lech; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Mary Makowka; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Gertrude Makowka; and step-brothers, Anthony Glowacki and Donald Glowacki.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

i worked as caseworker for Wanda several years ago, and found her, tobe one fasinating woman. we hit it off great, maybe one reason, was our love of cats. my condolences to you.
Wanda was a wonderful person who brought many smiles to those around her. She will be dearly missed.
