William H. Schneider, age 71, of Baraboo, Wisconsin passed away on March 4, 2011 at the St. Clare Meadow Care Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
A Celebration of Life will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Fairfield Town Hall located at the intersection of County Trunks T & U in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
William was born June 8, 1939 in Boston, MA to Henry and Sarah (Wallace) Schneider. He served in the United States Navy from 1956 until 1960. Bill married Francine A. Shook on October 14, 1972 in Woodstock, Vermont. They lived in Florida from 1985 until 2007 when they moved back to Baraboo to be closer to family.
Bill drove truck for many years prior to his retirement in 2001.
He enjoyed watching T.V. especially NASCAR. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post #312 in Oneco, Florida & the DAV Post #18 in Bradenton, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Sarah Schneider and one nephew.

Grandson: Joey (Carol) Hicks Jr. of Monticello, Indiana
Granddaughter: Stephanie (Tim) Hicks of Delphi, Indiana
Granddaughter: Anna Grassmyer of Idaville, Indiana
Grandson: Dylan Grassmyer of Idaville, Indiana
6 Great-Grandchildren: Kylee, TaTiana, Dawson, Jayden, Alliyah & Alex of Indiana
Sister: Bette Chenot of Vero Beach, Florida
