William “Shorty” Jack Morris, age 67, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024 at his home following recent failing health.
William was born January 25, 1957 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin to William and Jean (Wales) Morris. He grew up in Rhinelander and later graduated from Rhinelander High School. He worked in Milwaukee many years before returning to Rhinelander for his retirement. More recently he moved to Friendship, Wisconsin.
William enjoyed taking care of his dogs and chickens and gardening.
William was preceded in death by his parents: William and Jean Morris; and two siblings: Thomas and Cookie.
Survivors is survived by siblings: Lisa (David) Sedlak, Sharon Morris, Diane Morris, Sherry Brownell (Wes), and Dan Morris. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
