William R. Strharsky, age 85, of Monroe Center, Wisconsin died Friday, June 25, 2010 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home and on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
Interment will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, at the Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, Wisconsin.
Bill was born February 26, 1925 in Ashland, Wisconsin to John and Susan Strharsky. He married Mildred Janes on May 18, 1946 in Ashland, Wisconsin. They moved to Milwaukee in 1950, and he worked at Ladish Forge Shop in Cudahy for 36 years. Bill and Mildred retired to Monroe Center in 1990.
Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed gardening.
Bill was a member of St. Josephâs Catholic Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Susan Strharsky; and son, Richard; brothers: Harold, Andrew, and John; and sisters: Ann and Margaret.

Son: William (Kathy) Strharsky of Apple Valley, Minnesota
Son: Gerard (Louise) Strharsky of Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Daughter: Janice (Richard) Scharmer of Merrill, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Jason Strharsky of Tempe, AZ
Grandchild: Lauren Strharsky of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Brother: Joseph (Catherine) Strharsky of Iron River, Wisconsin
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
