John Premo
John was born April 23, 1959, the son of Harold and Beverly (Colby) Premo. He grew up in Adams County, living in the Adams, Friendship and Cottonville areas, and graduated from Adams-Friendship High School. He later made his home in De Pere for a number of years, and spent a couple of years in Kaneohe, Hawaii, near his son and grandchildren. John spent much of his working life on the road as a truck driver, hauling nationwide in the heart of his career, before retiring.
John was a devoted Packers and Brewers fan. His idea of a perfect Sunday was a cookout in the afternoon with the family around and the Packers on. Deer season was his other favorite time of year. He hunted alongside his dad growing up, and later passed that tradition on to his son. He was also a genuine pool shark. More than anything, he loved his family.
John is survived by his children, Josh (Amanda) Premo of Kaneohe, Hawaii, and Gabrielle (Zachary) Powell of Natchitoches, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Jorden, Tara and Owen Premo of Kaneohe, and Sawyer Powell of Natchitoches; and his sister, Sue Premo of De Pere.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Beverly Premo.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

John was my dear friend. I am so sorry to hear this. We often watched the Packer’s games together. He will be greatly missed.
