Albert Fritz Huber, age 91, passed away on November 23rd, 2024 due to a stroke.
He was born on June 15, 1933. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Laura Bea Huber. Also his siblings Heinrich Huber, Verena Vinti-Huber, Maria Ritter, Bernhard Huber, and Markus Paul Huber; many nieces and nephews; and a vast spiritual family of brothers and sisters. His parents Albert and Ida Huber and two sisters Marion Huber and Ursula Theiler preceded him in death.
His early life was spent in Richterswil, Switzerland on Lake Zurich. At age 23 he immigrated to Canada and after various stops finally settled in Germantown, Wisconsin near Milwaukee. He was a bus driver for 27 years in Milwaukee and during this time he was introduced to his first love, his Creator Jehovah God. His focus from the time of baptism on June 29th 1974 then became his ministry. This led to his finding his second love, his wife eight years later on February 10th, 1982 and they were married on July 31, 1982.
They led an adventurous and fulfilling life in the ministry which caused them to settle in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin on June 28th, 1989. Here they made many friends and found fulfillment in the ministry of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He was known for his baking abilities from his early training in Switzerland. Also for his chocolate clusters and was often called, “The Candy Man” by many of his friends. His yodel was a common feature enjoyed by all. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and relatives.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 1826 State Hwy 13, Friendship, WI. Visitation will begin on Saturday at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Laura,
I just heard about Albert. He was a wonderful man. I always enjoyed his company. You have my deepest sympathy. June
Many thanks for thinking about us. We have many wonderful memories of good times with you together, here in Switzerland. A very special moment was when we met Albert in Bern at a talk from Brother Knorr. Albert realized that we were taping the talk with our casette recorder and he asked us for a copy. We met up in our private home and from this time we had regular visits from Albert, each one very unique also when you, Laura, came with him. We still hear his laughing and are looking forward to his next experience in paradise.
Remember meeting Albert when I was 12 years old. He had the strongest handshake of anyone I’ve ever known. He always had a positive attitude and an infectious smile. Even at 92 he still had the strongest handshake! His Albert Huber cookies were a much beloved recipe in our household. His yodel greeting was one that always made me smile. He was a very hard worker and provider. Albert had a great love for Jehovah and the ministry. He was always trying to help others see how amazing Jehovah God is through the pages of the Bible. His zeal, work ethic, and love for the ministry and the congregation his spiritual brothers and sisters continued on strong. It was a part of the fabric of who he was. What was truly beautiful was even though old age was starting to catch up with him his love never diminished. Especially for his dear Laura. He still prayed with her and did his best as a husband despite his years. He was an excellent example, a pillar in our congregation, and one we will dearly miss until we get to see him again. Laura you have all our love and prayers during this time of grief and sadness. Though we will see Albert again on a paradise earth we will miss him in the meantime!
Revelation 21:3,4
And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away
Thank You Jehovah for Our Brother Albert. He was a Happy Man (1Tim 1:11) that Loved the Truth, He always knew how to put a smile on the many Brothers and Sisters faces, along with those of whom he had briefly met before. With Albert we could always count on a yodel or two. Even while on Zoom, we might not have see him, but we heard his Yodells. (He will be Missed) “Thank You Jehovah” For our Sister Laura’s Enduring Love, and Strength during this time of Sorrow with her Husband, Sister and a Pioneer Sister .
Albert and Laura kept each other going in the ministry, along with others. I Admired the Zeal and Love for People they both have. (had) with the shared experiences in field services, or by phone. Albert, and Laura loved to share their stories, and adventures, and their love of Critters, Big and Small, (Even if they run off with the bird feeder). I can only Imagine His Joy when He will be reunited with His Healthy, Patient, Loving Wife Laura, along with the many Friends, and Family in the Promised Paradise Earth. Sharing their parade of Lions ,Tigers, and Bears . Love you Laura
I met Albert because he married my long time friend, Laura. I just loved Albert and his good nature. I can’t remember anytime that he was even grumpy. I already miss his yodel. I will be looking forward to hearing it again. Laura U will be in my prayers🙏🏻🙏🏻
Our Uncle Albert was always a joy to visit. His was always smiling and made you want to smile right along with him. Highly energetic. And devout in his beliefs in life and there after. We are going to miss you Uncle Albert. I will always remember when Charlie plugged up your toilet and we had to do surgery on the plumbing.
Uncle Albert is a giant among men! Always Loving life, His God Jehovah, His Beautiful Wife, His Brothers and Sisters in the Faith and those He met in his Ministry or in passing everywhere He went. He often said; “Strangers are just family you haven’t met yet!” Always Positive, spreading the joy of God’s Kingdom to all He met. While He will be missed now, I look forward to his big hug when Jehovah calls him from the grave to life in paradise. (John 5:28) I’m sure he’ll be happy to finally get to sit and cuddle his favored Bangle Tigers 🐅.
Laura, my Dear Sis… Your heart is in mine at this most difficult time!!!!!🤟🏼

Albert was always a joy to be around! His devotion and loyalty to you and Jehovah was remarkable and long-lasting. We grieve with you, Laura, in his loss, but we look forward to Jehovah’s promised resurrection to a Paradise earth. All our love
Dear Albert was such a joy to be around. Whether when it was out in service, working at the hall, or going on literature runs to Janesville talking about the hope for the new system of things all the way there. He always made the hope so easy to picture and made it real in the mind and heart.
We have always and will always remember his unwavering faith, and unending love he showed his brothers and sisters.
See in a blink Uncle Albert.
Our Albert is such a joy! We cannot think of our Dear Friend without picturing his smile. And hearing a sweet yodel. ☺️ His love & enthusiasm for worshipping our God Jehovah is contagious and is a bond we will always share. We always hear his voice and see his smile when we hear the scripture that “there more happiness in giving than there is in receiving”. (Acts 20:35) We are privileged to have had so many happy years together now and look so forward to continuing on together in paradise.
Laura, our most heartfelt prayers are with you.
We love you Sis! 🩷
Albert will surely be missed! We look forward to seeing your family be reunited in the future under Jehovah’s love in perfection. Laura, your dedication to loving and caring for him did not go unnoticed. You are a beautiful example of love for all of us.
Albert will be so incredibly missed. He was a really special man who touched so many lives. I will never forget the sound of his yodel and I can still hear the sound of his “Yooo Hoo!”. Our hearts are hurting with you Laura until the day when Jehovah makes our hearts whole again. Sending all my love to you Laura!
