Arlyn R. Foley, age 52, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at his home.
Memorial services will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Arlyn was born March 5, 1967, in Clinton, Iowa to James M. Foley and Myrna C. Yoeckel.
He grew up and attended school in Clinton Iowa before moving to Minnesota in 1983.
Arlyn married Barbara L. Davis on November 3, 2003, in Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
He worked at Arcron in Germantown and with his brother at Bradley Wash Fountain in Milwaukee for many years.
Arlyn enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, wine, tinkering around with things, playing softball, and donating to St. Jude. He loved cooking for people, and spending time with family & friends, especially preparing for the family reunion. Arlyn was a member of the Moose Lodge in Germantown, Wisconsin
He was preceded in death by his father, James Foley, and father-in-law, Daniel Davis

further survived by many: nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends too numerous to mention. He is also survived by the mother of his children Lori (Rob) Klingbiel.
Thank you Arlyn for being such a great, fun friend. We have many great, fun memories of our friendships from over the years. May your family find peace in knowing how much you loved them and what a great guy you have been to so many. I will miss your goofyness, your laughs, smiles and your sweetness. Thank you for always caring about everyone else – until we meet again we will love and remember you.

Barb, I know that words are inadequate at a time like this, but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. The loss of a spouse is a tragic event I can’t imagine the pain and suffering you are experiencing.
It is times like this that our faith is put to the test. The Bible reminds us that “Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted.” I pray that this will be especially true for you as you mourn Arlyn’s passing.

Barb I just cannot believe he’s gone. He was always such a kind, gentleman and it looked like all of you had so much fun with him. He volunteered to help find out what my dads marine patches meant. That was very touching to me. Everyone has busy lives, yet he took the time to do some research and find info for me. I will never forget that.
I know he has gone thru so much the last several years, I hope you can find solace knowing he is no longer suffering. Hugs to you and your family cousin.

Arlyn was a special brother, people ask me what my fondest and favorite memory is, I tell them “He is my brother”, no words can ease the pain and sorrow but knowing I will be with him in the next eternal life makes it easier. I love you bro and miss you. You will live in my heart forever.
