Beverly was born July 12, 1939, in Westfield, Wisconsin. She graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1957 and worked as a secretary for Consolidated Papers for five years. Bev
married the love of her life, Harvey Wagner, on June 23, 1962; together they celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Outdoors, Beverly enjoyed camping, cross-country skiing, and tending to her flowers. Indoors, she enjoyed couples’ bowling and attending concerts, plays, and musicals.

Bev was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and volunteered many hours to help the Adams-Friendship Fine Arts Center become a reality. She also was a member of the Friends of
the Library (Adams County) and volunteered in the Adams-Friendship School District helping elementary students learn to read. Beverly was a kind and generous person. Those traits, combined with her humor, allowed her to make many lasting friendships throughout her life. Bev put her heart and soul into caring for her family and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her parents, Dorothy Sumwalt (Frozene) and Clarence Petruska; her sister, Mary Jo Klaus, and many loving in-laws: Charles “Chuck” and Alice Parr, James “Jim” and Jean Hilliard, Robert “Bob” Wagner, and Vearn “Sonny” Golz.

Survivors include her three children: Rochelle (Jorg) Brendel, Mark (Laurie) Wagner, and Perry (Carrie) Wagner; five grandchildren: Marina, Nikolas, Oliver, Henry, and Joey; brother-in-law Allan Klaus, sisters-in-law Maggie Wagner and Mary Golz as well as many nieces and nephews.
